In-Vivo FX

In-Vivo Imaging System FX provides high performance optical molecular imaging of Near-IR fluorescent, radioisotopic and luminescent labels in small animals. It features cooled CCD technology, selectable multi-wavelength illumination, and the In-Vivo FX includes an X-ray module for sensitive, quantitative radiographic imaging enabling precise anatomical localization of biomarkers of interest.

In-Vivo FX

  • 4 million pixel, 16-bit, cooled CCD camera in a closed optical path imaging chamber provides high resolution, quantitative imaging. 20 x 20 cm field of view allows viewing of up to 5 mice simultaneously. 10X optical zoom lens enables high resolution imaging of specific features of interest
  • Fully enclosed x-ray imaging source (In-Vivo FX Imaging System only) is controlled by the software interface and is adjustable from 12 – 35 kVP.
  • Patented Animal Management Center with integrated radiographic imaging screen provides environmental control and sequential imaging in x-ray and fluorescent modes without moving the sample
  • Multi-wavelength fiber-optic illumination from 410 – 760 nm provides selectable, highly specific fluorescent imaging. Proprietary wide angle emission filters provide high sensitivity imaging at near-IR wavelengths without optical artifacts.
  • Molecular Imaging Software provides comprehensive image analysis capabilities for in-vivo applications, including automated region of interest analysis and relative intensity measurement
  •  Windows XP and Mac OSX compatible
  • Greatly enhances anatomical localization of molecular imaging agent signals in small animals, organs, and tissues
  • Enables accurate quantification of biomolecules of interest in basic research, drug discovery, drug development, and therapeutic monitoring applications in small animal models
  • Improves understanding of imaging agent's bio-distribution through combined use of time-lapse molecular imaging and x-ray imaging
  • Allows simple switching between multiple imaging modalities including multi-wavelength fluorescent, luminescent, radioisotopic, and x-ray — without disturbing the sample
  • Versatile – system design also accommodates in-vitro assay formats including blots, plates and gels
  • Safe – The In-Vivo Imaging System FX meets or exceeds compliance to FDA Department of Health and Human Services regulation CFR 1020.40 for radiation safety
  • Complete system – includes everything you need to perform small animal imaging and subsequent image analysis, including proprietary Animal Management Center and new Molecular Imaging Software for quantitative image analysis
